Research Travel Award
The Board invites doctoral and postdoctoral members of SAMEMES (at the time of application, up to five years after defending their PhD) to apply for one of two Research Travel Awards. Each award provides up to 500 CHF to support research conducted outside Switzerland.
Applications should be submitted as a single PDF document and must include:
• a two-page CV,
• a description of the proposed research (no more than 1,000 words),
• a list of resources/expertise to be consulted, and
• a detailed budget, indicating any additional funding sources sought.
Applications must be sent to the members of the SAMEMES Executive Board no later than January 31 of each year. Awards support travel undertaken up to 12 months before or after the deadline.
Criteria for selection will be the excellence of the research, relevance of the research trip to the project, and feasibility of undertaking
